To install this radiator as part of your central heating system, you will need a pair of valves to connect it to your pipe work. Which type of valves you need will depend on yourt pipe work.

If the pipe work is coming out of the floor facing the ceiling, you will need a pair of straight (inline) valves but if the pipe work is coming out of the wall, you will need a pair of corner or angled valves.

To install this radiator as a stand alone electric only, you will need an electric heating element and a blanking blug. You can select a standard or a thermostatic element as all options below are campatible for this towel radiator and with recommended wattage for this towel radiator.

Tip!: A high wattage heating element does not mean you will get more heat out of the radiator. Regardless of the wattage of the electric element, you will still be limited the heat output of the towel radiator in question. A higher wattage electric element however will mean that the water inside the radiator will heat up quicker.

Please find below 3 possible ways to use this towel radiator together with pictures and drawings which will help you visualize the connections and help you decide what parts you require.

Start with selecting from options below depending on how you wish to use your towel rail. If you are looking for a central heating or dual fuel type usage, you will then need to select the location of your pipe work (wall or floor) to view relevant options and parts required for your selection.

When your pipe work is coming out from the wall, there are 3 possible ways to achieve a dual fuel towel rail connection. 1st option below is the best solution in terms of ease of installation and the overall look once the connection is final. This is achieved by using a set of radiator valves specifically designed for dual fuel towel rails. These valves have T pipes built-in allowing elements to be inserted directly below, while the pipe work outlet is facing to back wall.

Usually on dual fuel towel rails, pipe work need to be arranged wider than the towel rail. However with these special valves, pipe work can be in line with the towel rail as if it is a straight forward central heating connection only.

With this option you will not require any T pipes and whole connection will be a lot more symmetrical as pipe work and valves are aligned perfectly with towel rail's vertical tubes.

The general appearance of the radiator is great, a very nice finish and it arrived very quickly with free postage.  The only thing I would comment on, is that the tapped plates for the feed pipes were not welded squarely, or the hole was not drilled squarely, and as a result, the pipes come out at an angle. By the time I had noticed, the CH system was drained, so I had to go ahead and install it instead of returning it for a replacement. As it is, no one would really notice except me.

Great delivery and a great product! Only problem is that there were a couple of missing parts which has left me with a slightly substandard result as I bought an anthracite radiator and have had to fit a chrome valve on it,   annoying but not a deal breaker, the towel radiator Is quality!

Extremely helpful, efficient service; prompt delivery at a reasonable cost. Very happy overall - lovely radiator. I have not deducted any stars, as whilst there are a couple of abrasions on the caps/covers, I suspect this damage may have been done by the fitters. I hope the company may be able to supply replacements when I contact them. Very satisfied overall.
