High quality towel rail delivered promptly. Even more precise technical dimensions on the attachment points would be helpful

The towel rail was delivered on time and came well packaged. In terms of pipe centres and size it was a direct replacement for an existing, rather tatty, towel rail so installation should have been reasonably quick. The towel rail is fixed to the wall with screws and spacers and the spacers attach to the rail with screws that go into nuts welded to the back of the uprights, a very simple and elegant solution, or so you would think.  Unfortunately the screws supplied were too long for the nuts leaving me with the choice of finding shorter screws, cutting a bit of each screw or using washers under the screw heads. I decided on the last course of action but then had to make a trip to the shops as I didnt have any suitable washers at home. Also one of the nuts had a defective thread so I was obliged to use an additional washer on that screw.  The rail looks very nice and overall I am pleased with my purchase, but the problem with the thickness of the nuts should never have occurred, and I can only assume that the manufacturer never attempted to assemble the wall fixings.  Id have awarded 5 stars but for this problem.
