Please find below 3 possible ways to use this towel radiator together with pictures and drawings which will help you visualize the connections and help you decide what parts you require.

Start with selecting from options below depending on how you wish to use your towel rail. If you are looking for a central heating or dual fuel type usage, you will then need to select the location of your pipe work (wall or floor) to view relevant options and parts required for your selection.

Dual Fuel Heated Towel Rails Option 1 - I want to use this towel rail as Dual Fuel - What Parts do I need?

1.A) My pipes are coming out from the WALL - Dual Fuel

When your pipe work is coming out from the wall, there are 3 possible ways to achieve a dual fuel towel rail connection. 1st option below is the best solution in terms of ease of installation and the overall look once the connection is final. This is achieved by using a set of radiator valves specifically designed for dual fuel towel rails. These valves have T pipes built-in allowing elements to be inserted directly below, while the pipe work outlet is facing to back wall.

Usually on dual fuel towel rails, pipe work need to be arranged wider than the towel rail. However with these special valves, pipe work can be in line with the towel rail as if it is a straight forward central heating connection only.

1.A.1) Dual Fuel - Pipes from Wall # Corner Valves option (recommended)

Type of Use:Dual Fuel (Central Heating and Electric)
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out of the wall
Parts Required:
  • A set of dual fuel corner valves
(DFCC for chrome or DFAC for anthracite towel rails)
  • A matching heating element (thermostatic type recommended)

With this option you will not require any T pipes and whole connection will be a lot more symmetrical as pipe work and valves are aligned perfectly with towel rail's vertical tubes.

1.A.2) Dual Fuel - Pipes from Wall # Two T- Pipes option

Type of Use:Dual Fuel (Central Heating and Electric)
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out of the wall
Parts Required:
  • A pair of angled valves
  • A matching heating element (thermostatic type recommended)
  • Two T pipes (Dual Fuel adaptor)
  • One blanking plug

1.A.3) Dual Fuel - Pipes from Wall # One T- Pipe option (not recommended)

Type of Use:Dual Fuel (Central Heating and Electric)
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out of the wall
Parts Required:
  • A pair of angled valves
  • A matching heating element (thermostatic type recommended)
  • One T pipe (Dual Fuel adaptor)

1.B) My pipes are coming out of the FLOOR - Dual Fuel

1.B.1) Dual Fuel - Pipes from Floor # Two T- Pipes option (recommended)

Type of Use:Dual Fuel (Central Heating and Electric)
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out from the floor
Parts Required:
  • A pair of angled valves
  • A matching heating element (thermostatic type recommended)
  • Two T pipes (Dual Fuel adaptor)
  • One blanking plug

1.B.2) Dual Fuel - Pipes from Floor # One T- Pipe option (not recommended)

Type of Use:Dual Fuel (Central Heating and Electric)
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out from the floor
Parts Required:
  • One straight and one angled valve
  • A matching heating element (thermostatic type recommended)
  • One T-pipe (Dual Fuel adaptor)

Central Heating Connections Option 2 - I want to use this towel rail as part of Central Heating - What Parts do I need?

2.A) My pipes are coming out from the WALL - Central Heating

Type of Use:Central Heating connection only
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out of the wall
Parts Required:
  • A pair of angled valves or a pair of corner valves (recommended)
While angled valve handles will protrude, corner valves will be in-line with your towel rail.

2.B) My pipes are coming out from the FLOOR - Central Heating

Type of Use:Central Heating connection only
Pipe Work: Pipes coming out from the floor
Parts Required:
  • A pair of straight (in-line) valves

Electric Only Use Option 3 - I want to use this towel rail as Electric Only - What Parts do I need?

Type of Use:Electric Only
Parts Required:
  • Matching heating (electric) element
  • Blanking plug

Once you have these parts, your installer would need to put them together and fill the towel rail manually with distilled (deionized) water and inhibitor mix.

Adige were brilliant, but APC were not

Adige were brilliant, couldnt fault them. Needed to change the delivery date, I emailed them & they responded immediately to confirm the change.  Unfortunately, the courier company APC let them down, hence the 4* rating. They didnt deliver on the agreed date but 24hours later. They didnt even contact us to let us know. The tracking system didnt work until day of delivery so we were unaware of what was going on. Fortunately there was someone in to take the delivery. Sadly, APC are affecting Adiges reputation ??

Excellent Products & Sound Advice
R 02/02/2017 16:24
I needed 2x central heating towel rails for the bathroom & en-suite. I was unsure as to the correct positioning for the feed & return pipes, so contacted Adige direct and the chap I spoke with was very helpful indeed providing a number of alternatives plus sound advice.  In addition I was also informed about the technical drawings that are on their website which complement the individual towel rails - this proved very useful.  Looking at their products and cost, I placed an order for the 2x towel rails which arrived the next day free of charge. The units are well made and the quality is excellent compared to some other outlets. The units look very sleek in both rooms and Im glad I purchased from the company.  So from my first enquiry through to fitting the towel rails today (02/02/17) I have very pleased with all aspects and can certainly recommend the company. Well done.

Quality Towel Radiator
John 06/02/2016 11:17
A quality towel radiator, I replaced a Myson towel radiator with the Adige 600/1500mm white flat towel radiator, it is every bit as good, if not better, and at a much lower cost, also the brackets on the Adige were much easier to fix. Delivery was very very quick and efficient.
